1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Help Assam ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

Help Assam is a volunteer-run, non-profit initiative created to facilitate transparent donation management and relief distribution for flood-affected communities in Assam, India. We do not charge any fees or commissions on donations.

3. Donations

All donations are made voluntarily via UPI payment. By submitting a donation, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the funds being transferred. Donations are non-refundable once processed. We maintain 100% transparency in fund utilisation.

4. Donor Information

Donor details (name, contact number, address, message) collected at the time of donation are used solely to send distribution video evidence and for internal record-keeping. We do not sell, rent, or share donor information with third parties.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or degrade platform services
• Submit false or misleading donation information

6. Limitation of Liability

Help Assam volunteers make every reasonable effort to ensure funds reach affected families. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or be held liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or third-party payment gateway issues.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
